I’m sorry, we’re all out of cake

I feel like I’ve been quiet lately (I haven’t really, but when you’re used to posting nearly every day I guess?) I have an excellent excuse, however: I am sick. I somehow managed to go the whole winter without so much as a cold, and I said so and tempted the gods a few too many times, and now I have some sort of infection/flu/strep throat/death thing. At least I’m over the worst of the fever and aching now? I took today off work and got 15 hours of sleep last night (yes, 15), and I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow so we’ll get it all sorted. I am thankful for having access to medical care and the ability to take sick leave.
