I had an unpleasant early awakening at 5am by someone’s car alarm, so I got a bit of a jump on my day. Made it to the gym by 7, did a little easy elliptical to warm up and then lifted upper-body weights (sans J today) and stretched. I’m still not quite awake, and I’m going to be hitting the coffee hard all day, I suspect.
I am still having problems with my legs, and they’re feeling worse-not-better. I’m going to lay off running for the rest of the week and see how it goes. I’m also coming down with a cold, so yeah, just feeling kind of crappy all around. Going to try to stick to my routine, eat well and drink plenty of water, and get lots of rest. Sometimes you’ve just got to slack off a little and take care of yourself.
