I forgot to write about my workout yesterday! After work yesterday, I went to the gym and ran 2 miles then did another 20 minutes on the elliptical while waiting for my friend to come pick me up. Despite being inside in the air conditioning, I was still very sweaty. Welcome to summer in the swamp!

This morning J and I lifted weights and I got to increase the weight on a few things. It was hard but rewarding. I included the leg exercises I usually skip but did them with lighter weights than I might normally… it’s probably good for me to make my hamstrings and quads a little bit stronger. Too bad it’s my lower legs that give me a hard time! I did some calf raises and totally felt the burn.
