Easy run today: only 3 miles.  (“Only”, she says.)  Had a little extra fun today: the last mile I ran tempo intervals, a minute of faster-than-usual running followed by a minute of easy running.  Rinse and repeat until done.  It was hard work but I like running fast!  And a minute is such an easy interval… until you’ve done 4 or 5 cycles and you’re having a hard time catching your breath!

Afterwards I took a quick shower, re-dressed and hopped the bus home.  #1 priority upon getting in the door was to find something to eat!  I am rapidly approaching Shark Week/The Crimson Onslaught/whatever euphemism you prefer and my stomach turns into a bottomless pit.  Luckily I had tofu marinating in the fridge (sriracha, soy, sugar and horseradish!) and I cooked it up, nuked some leftover rice, put a heap of kimchi into a bowl (what? balanced dinner! kimchi’s a vegetable, right?) and devoured it all with gusto.  I feel much improved now.

I love you. That is all.

Haha, thanks! It’s really the most fantastic tofu marinade. But in my opinion just about anything can be improved by adding sriracha :)
