I may have given up on running for the time being, but I am still lifting weights and getting my stretching in! I skipped my oblique twisty things, though; I tweaked my back somehow and didn’t feel like aggravating that. Gotta love these random aches and pains!

Speaking of aches and pains, I really need to work on stretching. Through using my muscles, I’m learning how they’re all connected, and realizing that tightness in one place leads to tightness and pain in another. A classic case for me is my Achilles tendon and the plantar fascia– if my Achilles isn’t as long as it should be it leads to foot pain. I should get back to yoga… it really did make a difference. I miss that feeling of being a few inches taller after a session.
