Nearly forgot to write! I got 3 good miles in after work today… rather than going to a short walk at tired points after running fast for a while, I turned down the speed on the treadmill (blech) to a slow-but-still-running speed, got my breath back, and kept on truckin’. This is new! The longer runs with no walk breaks have been at the plodding slow speed all the way through– it’s good to know that I can run fast and then run slow and get my energy back.
After the gym, I went out with a friend and drank wine and ate squash pasta. Life is pretty good. :)
