Today was Week 1, Day 2 of the Hundred Pushup challenge. First, it’s amazing how quickly my body is adapting! On Monday I cheated my way through half of them (I admit it!) but today I didn’t have to. Second: Maybe my M/W/F plan for this is less than ideal; since I do weight lifting T/Th my poor arms are never getting a rest. I could just incorporate them into the lifting workout and try T/Th/Sa or something instead. I think that’s smarter. Overtraining bad!
Pushups done; on to yoga? Yes, yoga. My favorite one, full of sun salutations. (I typed ‘fun salutations’ first… yeah, no.) Chaturangas and side planks, oh my. On the plus side, the balance poses and the hip openers were very nice in comparison.
When I’m done with this, I’m wearing sleeveless shirts FOREVER.
