Usually my weekends are workout-free zones but I had some time this afternoon and the weather was nice (I thought…) so I went out for a run. A full 3 miles of hills later and a couple walk breaks, I finished my 40 minutes. Note to self: “only” 80 degrees isn’t “nice” if it’s also 80% humidity. And quite sunny. And the terrain is bare pavement.
Since I have several complaining body parts, I’m tweaking my schedule for the week and trying Su-W runs (and maybe F, if all goes well) so I get 2 recovery days in between. Hopefully that helps. Tomorrow I’ll swim instead, since it’s going to be hot.
