Cruddy weather, tired feeling, and possibly fighting a bug. That’s today! But J dragged me to the gym, where I ran a quick mile (half of it at 10-minute pace– super fast for me– and the rest still fast) and then lifted some weights and stretched out really well. I’m glad to have the workout done, but I still don’t feel very well– I’m sore-ish and my throat hurts. (Yesterday I felt worse– I skipped Monday’s run.)
In happier news, my partner finally feels well enough to get back to the gym! He had hurt his arm, then his foot, and it was just a whole spiral of badness but now he’s doing better and getting back into his routine. I hope that as he gets stronger, the parts he had injured continue to feel better.
