Not quite…

My schedule is set up so that I do a long run on Saturday, rest day Sunday, and 3 miles on Monday.  Since I did the long run on Sunday instead, I sorely missed that rest day.  (Pun intended.)

I ambitiously set out for my scheduled 3 miler but my body just wasn’t having it.  After struggling through a mile and a half of no energy and achey guts and twingey legs I decided that was enough and half a run was better than none anyway.  I’d rather listen to my body and rest up for my tempo run tomorrow.

On a positive note, I’ve just about logged 50 miles this month.  That’s a first!  So many firsts lately. :)
