Hill work

Today’s run was sort of weird– nothing like being nearly done with your run and crossing the street and looking up to see 3 helicopters just hanging out over the area, chillin’.  Yeah, I turned back around and called it a day at that point.

Anyway, it was almost 3 miles, and I worked hard.  I ran out a mile and a half and saw a nice hill– about 1/8 mi long, not super steep but steep enough to be a challenge.  4 repeats of that hill and I was pretty worn out and headed back home.  I definitely felt my tired quads!

I put the insoles in my shoes and now my feet are sort of tired.  I didn’t notice anything weird with my arches today, but the whole foot assembly wasn’t really happy with the insole.  It’s been a while since I used them.
