Tough recovery

I’m not very good at recovery days. At least I didn’t run…

For what it’s worth, I’m not too sore this morning. (I spent much of yesterday evening with frozen peas on my knees and quads; maybe that helped.) But when I got to the gym today, and was faced with deciding what kind of activity to do, I erred on the side of caution and picked the elliptical…

…and then did 40 minutes of 1×1 1 minute intervals. So much for easy! But a steady-state session on the elliptical is so boring. Anyway, it was quite an intense workout and I feel much improved, if tired.
