Stage 1, Final: Workout B, AMRAP

All done! Woo! This set of exercises was sort of a mixed bag; some were super easy and some were still a challenge, even after working on them for 2 months. So it goes.

Overall, I’m really happy with my progress through this stage. The program was really easy to stick to, time efficient, challenging and effective, and it didn’t make me too sore (at least after my body had adapted initially). I think I’ll take a week or two, run some, yoga some, maybe do some pushups and farmers walks and grip training, and come back for Stage 2.

This was another As Many Reps As Possible at the starting load workout. Here’s the breakdown for the exercises:

DEADLIFT
Starting load: 95lb
Ending load: 145lb (+34%)
AMRAP: 30

SHOULDER PRESS
Starting load: 15lb
Ending load: 30lb (+50%)
AMRAP: 25

LAT PULLDOWN
Starting load: 27.5lb
Ending load: 39lb (+42%)
AMRAP: 30

LUNGE
Starting load: Bodyweight
Ending load: 15lb
AMRAP: 20

BALL CRUNCH
Starting load: Bodyweight
Ending load: 30lb held above head
AMRAP: 100
