Temporarily tapering

Last 3 miler on the schedule for this week (I think; see below). It was no fun at all. My calves were tight and twingey and I dragged the whole way. And my clothes felt like they fit weird and everything was just off. But I finished the dang thing in 37 minutes and whatever, it’s done.

(I think something is up with my sinuses– maybe that’s why I feel so run-down?)

I had this week planned as a mini-taper; I’d take Thursday and Friday off and do another 5k test run on Saturday. But I realized today when I logged my miles that I’ve just ticked over 70 this month– within spitting distance of 75, which is a nice round milestone. I should just get there if I stick to my plan… let’s hope it doesn’t snow next Monday, okay?
