Keeping it real

My schedule called for another 4 miles fast this morning– and I actually pulled it off! 4 nice solid miles in 50 minutes, with negative splits each mile. I’ll call that a win! Now I just need to survive tomorrow’s hilly 6 miler…

These miles are taking their toll on my body in obnoxious ways. I have a line across my back that re-chafes every time I do a long run, so I’m looking forward to that. And I’m going to keep it real here: every so often I get a blocked hair follicle or something in my groin-ular area and it makes a bump that gets irritated by running, and guess what showed up today? Argh. Bodies are gross.
