Long and slow, for sure

This week’s long run was 5 miles. For some reason, I decided to do an out-and back on the Killer Hills Route, so it was a mess. Anyway, I finished in 1:07. The first half was horrible and my legs were really tired, but after 3 miles everything kind of sorted itself out. There was still a lot of walking up hills… Why do I run that way, anyway?

Tomorrow I have to wake up early and get to the airport. Hopefully I can get a good night’s rest.
