Today’s pull workout was powered by The Life And Times, who are my favorite band from Kansas City. (Okay, they’re the only band I know from Kansas City. But they’re great.)
Barbell row – 4x5x95lb
Bicep curls 10x25lb each side, 2x10x20lb??
Bent-over row – 3x10x35lb
Lat pulldown – 3x10x37
Face pull – 3x10x90
Seated row – 3x10x70
I tried really hard not to cheat at the BB row by using my back; I made it until the very last rep with good form. Maybe my difficulty with this one is because I’m always getting cheaterrific when I get tired… I also tried using the EZ bar for biceps instead of dumbbells. It was… weird. I put 20lb on there and it was hard. Maybe less cheating there too?
You know, when I started lifting I had this idea that I would feel like Wonder Woman all the time but anymore I’m just sore and tired. I’m dragging lately. Still worth it…
