This morning the soreness had subsided to the point where I felt good to get back into the weight room again, so I did. It was the same upper body lifts as Tuesday, with an extra dose of weighted crunches and ball jackknifes and planks too. My abs already hurt. But, my bench is coming along– I managed more reps at the heaviest weight today.
Yoga January is coming to an end and I am not sad to see it go. Day after day of Angry Hamstring Yoga is really getting old. I’ve been doing it because it’s quick and seems therapeutic but I’d really rather get a normal practice in. I did an experimental forward fold and got about halfway before meeting resistance. I wonder how long this is going to take?
That’s all I got for today. Tomorrow friends are coming over and I’m looking forward to being social and laughing a lot with people I care about.
