I stayed home sick yesterday (still had to call into some meetings and send emails) and, since I also had a zillion meetings today, I dragged my butt into the office. Pretty sure I’m not contagious anymore, at least.
For some stupid reason I went to the weight room anyway. (Why get behind?) Do a couple sets, cough, do a couple more sets. No big deal. I’m not sure I’d be less tired if I hadn’t gone, but I do feel slightly more accomplished since I did.
Squat – 2x5x45lb (warmup), 2x5x135lb
Row – 5x5x75lb
Deadlift – 5x135lb (warmup), 5x195lb
Bonus: Back extensions, weighted side bends, ball crunches, cable wood chops, farmers walk
I didn’t do 5×5 squats because, basically, I didn’t feel like it. My knees feel inflamed (well all of me does, thanks yesterday’s fever, but it’s worst in my knees) so I punted. It’s all right; I’ll be back again soon, hopefully feeling better.
