I decided to do a treadmill run indoors for my workout today (it’s still really hot out) and struggled through 30 minutes. Tired legs, not much energy. But still, I hung in there, got it done, stretched and feel somewhat accomplished for having achieved my tiny gym goal for today.
Sleep has been less than great. Last night I slept okay, but the night before that I didn’t fall asleep until after 12 and then I was wide awake at 3am. And rather than tossing and turning and keeping my husband up, I decided to just get up and go downstairs and start my telework day. So that was a thing.
Yesterday was also a lifties with hubs day, he seems to be getting the hang of it. While I’m still enjoying the easy volume as his 5×5 regimen ramps up, yesterday was less easy, especially squats. Tired tired.
I’m going to invite friends for a run and/or lift tomorrow morning. Not sure if they want to get up early for activity on a holiday… I’ll be doing it anyway, so they can join me if they want.
