Still here. Still got it.

I feel like I’ve been slacking lately.  I don’t think I actually have, though.  I was supposed to go to yoga class on Friday but I wasn’t feeling very well so I skipped it.  But enough about what I didn’t do!  This isn’t a blog for talking about what I didn’t do.

It was raining cats and dogs out so I planned to go run on the treadmill after work.  I dragged my feet, decided I would do the elliptical instead, but once I walked in old habits kicked in so onto the treadmill I went.  And once I got my butt going I had a good run– finished 3 miles with no breaks in about 36 minutes.  (Hooray for residual stubbornness.)  Shoes are still squishy, feet are still happy.  The one problem arose because I was going to do the elliptical: I neglected to apply Body Glide to the place where my bra band rubs so I have a nice sore spot there.  Afterwards I did 25 ceremonial, drippy situps (the gym was hot and humid like a sauna today) and stretched.

I don’t usually go to the gym after work– there are too many people in there.  (It’s a very small gym.)  I felt like I got a lot of weird looks today.  Maybe it’s just me…
