I was sunburned already from walking all over the city yesterday, so today I just added to the redness with a 5.9 (can’t I just round up to 6?) mile run today on the trail. Longest ever! It was slow and there were walking breaks but I’m okay with that. I suppose I can call Fridays in my training plan the day to just get out there and remember that I really enjoy running– it’s a beautiful day today and it felt great to spend time outside.
My race is next week! I hope I’ll be ready.
