Shark week snuck up on me yesterday (there’s nothing like being in the middle of a run and realizing your period just started, 3 days early) and today my uterus is declaring its monthly war on my insides. But (since I am tough as nails) I managed to get through the last run of the week, another 30 minutes on the treadmill. My plan was to run it “easy”, but I more-or-less kept up with my average anyway– once I was moving it was okay. Grand total of 10 miles this week: I am pleased.
I’m hoping the title isn’t quite true, as far as my workouts go; I’d really like to block out some time for a yoga practice or two over the weekend. It would do me good. All this running hasn’t left me totally sore, but there are some places that need a little attention. Goodness knows I’m sleeping well, though. Out like a light for 8 hours.
