I still feel awful, but I didn’t want to miss a benchmark run so I went out yesterday. It was cold and after I came back in my lungs were sore and I coughed a lot and was pretty miserable. There’s no hope of getting back on my plan this week either, so I decided to take today to rest again and hope I feel better next week.
It was a relief to see that the fast interval was about the same as previous ones, despite barely running for 2 weeks. And somehow I held on to a little speed for a longer time.
The race is on Thanksgiving, about 2 weeks away. I haven’t really done a long run yet! I don’t have confidence in my endurance…
